Travel Well

Are you travelling this summer? Be prepared.

Please contact the practice 4-6 weeks before you are travelling for advice.

You may need a course of vaccinations which can take several weeks to complete to ensure you have adequate protection before you travel.

If you take any medicine regularly, make sure you have enough for your trip and check with your airline what can be carried in your hand luggage. Be aware that some medicines may not be permitted in your destination country.

Advice can be obtained from the FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office) website.

Non-urgent advice: Please Note

There may be a charge for vaccines which are not provided by the NHS.

Non-NHS services

The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide.

These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions and some vaccination services.

Our fees for these services, which are in line with BMA approved national guidelines, can be viewed here.

Non-urgent advice: Please Note

We are unable to accept payment by cheque but you may pay by debit card or cash.
